Parts Interpreter – Automotive Dealership | Rockingham
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our busy and well-established automotive dealership in Rockingham. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced workshop environment and takes pride in accuracy, customer service, and teamwork.
You will play a key role in supporting our workshop technicians, service advisors, and retail customers, ensuring the correct parts are sourced and supplied efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret parts accurately using parts catalogues
* Supply parts to workshop technicians in a timely and organised manner
* Assist retail and trade customers with parts enquiries
* Process orders, receipting, invoicing, and returns
* Maintain stock control, bin locations, and inventory accuracy
* Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers
* Support warranty and service departments as required
* Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant parts department
What we\'re looking for
* Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter (automotive industry desirable)
* Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and components
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Current driver's licence (essential)
