The Aussie Gelatin Company, trading as Nutraviva, is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of premium collagen, gelatin, and nutritional supplements. Proudly Australian-owned, we’re a fast-growing, customer-focused business supplying both retail and wholesale customers across the country.
We are now seeking an experienced and hands-on **General Manager** to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role in a company with strong demand, high-impact products, and an engaged customer base.
**The Role**
Reporting directly to the Directors, the General Manager will oversee all operations, finance, people, and commercial activities of the business. You will be responsible for delivering growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the company maintains its reputation for premium quality and outstanding service.
This is both a **strategic and operational** role — ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front while being close to the daily running of a health and nutrition brand.
**Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership**
- Develop and execute business strategy to drive sustainable growth.
- Identify new product, channel, and market opportunities including private label opportunities.
- Set and track KPIs across all areas of the business.
**Operational Management**
- Oversee supply chain, production, warehousing, and order fulfilment.
- Ensure excellent quality control and adherence to food safety standards (HACCP, regulatory compliance).
- Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
**Financial Performance**
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor profitability, margins, and cash flow.
- Drive commercial decision-making based on strong financial insight.
**Sales, Marketing & Customer Growth**
- Support marketing strategy, brand positioning, and digital growth initiatives.
- Strengthen relationships across distributor, wholesale, retail, and online channels.
- Identify opportunities for expansion into new markets.
**Team Leadership**
- Lead, mentor, and support a small, dedicated team.
- Foster a positive, proactive, and accountable workplace culture.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance development.
**Compliance & Risk Management**
- Ensure strict adherence to Australian food, safety, and workplace regulations.
- Maintain high-quality production and documentation standards.
- Manage risk, safety, and operational resilience.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
