Veterinary Receptionist – Fast-Paced, Supportive Clinic
We're looking for a friendly, organised Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy practice. This is a fast-paced front-of-house role where no two days are the same—you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, managing bookings, handling enquiries, and keeping the day running smoothly.

About the Role
As our receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front desk while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires someone who is highly organised, efficient in all aspects of reception duties, and able to balance a fast-paced environment with compassion and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
* Answering and managing incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner
* Scheduling appointments and coordinating surgical bookings
* Greeting clients and patients warmly and ensuring a positive experience
* Managing client records and maintaining accurate data entry
* Handling payments and general administrative tasks
* Supporting the veterinary team with additional reception and clerical duties as required
About You
* Proven experience in a reception or customer service role (veterinary or medical experience highly regarded)
* Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask efficiently
* Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
* A core fous on people and their experiences
* A high level of empathy and compassion when dealing with clients and their pets
* Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy or emotional environment
* Confident using computer systems and scheduling software
