A renowned electrical client is currently looking to fill a unique position. Ideally this role requires a candidate who has progressed from an electrical trades or engineering background into a technical sales role with a proven ability to maintain and secure new business, meet set sales targets, and deliver through their finely tuned ability to identify opportunities, close sales deals, and ultimately.
* Liaise and negotiate with commercial, defence, industrial, and manufacturing clients for minor electrical repairs, modifications, and upgrades, as well as other electrical services
* Qualify prospects, make effective sales presentations, and manage proposals to close sales deals
* Identify maintenance agreement opportunities and provide leads to the sales team
* Survey electrical systems, interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions
* Quote and estimate for work identified through timely, complete, clear, and concise reports and proposals
* Address customer needs in a timely manner
* Maintain concise sales information capture for timely and accurate internal sales and KPI reporting
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience of electrical estimating and quoting within a commercial setting is required
* Electrical Trade or electrical engineer qualification is essential
* Previous technical sales experience in client-facing roles gained within the electrical industry managing key B2B service account relationships is advantageous, as is the ability to demonstrate success in prospecting into new markets, generating leads, and closing new business deals, and working with multiple customers and competing priorities
* Well-developed computer skills are necessary
* Ability to manage time and workload and work towards agreed KPIs
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to clients
