Trade Assist is looking for approximately 20 painters for a variety of projects around the Nelson region and is offering competitive rates for the right people with experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming
* Apply paints, stains, and finishes to different types of surfaces
* Maintain high standards of workmanship with excellent attention to detail
* Work closely with project managers and team members to ensure timely project completion
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
What we are looking for
* Proven experience as a painter (minimum 3 years' experience)
* Solid knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety standards
* Must have your own basic painting tools
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
* Valid Site Safe advantageous (but not essential)
* Have excellent knowledge of Health and Safety Practices
