They were started by the needs of the community as there was limited health services supporting the ever-increasing needs of young people in the area. They are wanting to support and grow themselves and the community. The goal of our service is to create a place staff love to work, young people love to come and to grow our families together. They value all their staff and want to encourage each person individually, including advocating for personal and professional growth. They want to support you. The service utilises NDIS, Medicare and standard billing for sessions with young people. They work to support their clients as a team of health professionals. They provide assessment for functional and diagnostic purposes including support letters and reports for Paediatricians and Child Psychiatrists. They offer quality therapeutic services for young people and their families. Position Description: The service loves collaborating with allied health professionals and our goal is to have a great team working together. As such they are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their growing team of paediatric professionals. In this role, they will seek your support regarding developing discipline specific templates, resources, and planning future services. The successful candidate for this role will have the following: Evidence based therapeutic intervention to support young people and their families. Good communication skills when working with children, families, stakeholders, and other team members. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. AHPRA Registration. A current Driver Licence and access to a car. It would be helpful to have previous experience working with children; however, they are happy to talk to you if you are interested in this field.
