About the role
Galloway Engine Reconditioning is seeking a skilled and experienced Engine Assembler Technician/Fitter to join our team in Pinjarra, WA. This full-time role is responsible for the precision assembly of reconditioned engines in our state-of-the-art workshop.
What you'll be doing
* Disassemble, inspect, and assess engine components
* Accurately measure and replace worn or damaged parts
* Assemble engines to exacting specifications using specialised tools and equipment
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
* Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery
What we're looking for
* Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics, Fitting and Machining or a similar field
* Proven experience in engine reconditioning and assembly
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
* Familiarity with a variety of engine types and components
* Proficient in the use of specialised tools and equipment
* Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
