We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician with expertise in gas turbines to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems related to gas turbines in industrial settings.
This is a 25 day shutdown offering 12.5 hour shifts day and night shift on offerKey Responsibilities: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems for gas turbines.Conduct diagnostics, fault finding, and troubleshooting of turbine control systems, PLCs, and SCADA interfaces.Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings for instrumentation and control systems.Work with field sensors, transmitters, actuators, and control loops to maintain system accuracy.Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company procedures.Collaborate with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams to optimise turbine performance Maintain detailed documentation and reports on maintenance activities and system performance Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include: Flights and Accommodation providedDay and Night shift on offerExperience on a leading LNG facilityWhat you will bringElectrical or Instrumentation trade certificationMinimum 5 years of experience in E&I Maintenance, with a focus on gas turbinesStrong knowledge of turbine control systems, PLCs, DCS and SCADA systemsExperience with calibration, loop testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation devices including the use of Beamex calibration equipment.Understanding of HV/LV electrical systems, motor control centers (MCCs), and VFD's.Ability to work in hazardous environments (e.g., LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical) and follow safety regulations.Familiarity with OEM systems (Baker Hughes, GE, Solar, etc.)
