 
        
        Curatorial Project Officer, First Nations Art
The National Gallery of Victoria seeks a skilled professional to support the First Nations Art curatorial department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets in accordance with established guidelines.
 * Preparing proposals, reports, and correspondence to stakeholders and senior management.
 * Assisting with administration and research for displays and exhibitions, including concept development and coordination.
 * Researching and drafting written information for publications and communications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
 * Demonstrated knowledge of First Nations cultures and histories, with a strong understanding of their significance and relevance.
 * Sound knowledge of First Nations art, including its history, development, and contemporary practice.
 * Tertiary qualification in a related field or equivalent experience, with a focus on cultural heritage and museum studies.
Location: Melbourne.
Remuneration: $79,122 per annum + 12% superannuation.
Designation: This is a First Nations designated position under the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic).
