We are seeking an experienced and proactive Remuneration & Payroll Manager to lead our payroll function and oversee the development and administration of remuneration and benefits programs across the business.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with legislation, awards, and internal policies.
* Develop and maintain remuneration frameworks, salary structures, and benchmarking processes.
* Oversee employee benefits, allowances, and incentive programs.
* Provide strategic guidance to management on remuneration and payroll matters.
* Ensure accurate reporting on payroll, remuneration, and related metrics.
* Lead and mentor payroll and HR team members, ensuring operational excellence.
* Act as the primary point of contact for payroll and remuneration queries from employees and management.
* Maintain and update employee records, awards, leave, and entitlements in the Employment Hero system.
* Reconcile payroll reports and respond to internal and external payroll-related queries.
* Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, TFNs, super fund setup, and terminations.
* Work closely with People and Culture, Management and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and HRIS processes.
* You will also be responsible for ensuring timely superannuation lodgment and reconciliation, maintaining compliance with statutory deadlines and internal reporting standards.
* You may be expected to manage and support off-site payroll staff, including providing training and guidance to ensure consistency, compliance, and accuracy across payroll processes.
* Prepare and lodge STP (Single Touch Payroll) and EOFY reconciliations via Employment Hero.

About You
* Proven experience as a Remuneration and Payroll Specialist.
* 5+ years' experience in payroll.
* Proficient in Employment Hero Payroll (essential) or KeyPay.
* Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and award interpretation (Vehicle Award and Clerical Award preferrable).
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
