Comaea Consulting has been retained to partner with a globally renowned marine capital equipment manufacturing company to identify a high‐calibre sales professional aimed at driving growth and expanding market presence in the East Coast.
(Based in Melbourne / Sydney / Brisbane)

As an industry leader in marine capital equipment, our client is committed to engineering excellence and delivering cutting‐edge solutions to customers worldwide. Reporting to the Managing Director, this pivotal role is responsible for driving the sales of new equipment and developing business in the East Coast, Australia, plus New Zealand.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales management: Take ownership of driving business growth by shaping and implementing an effective sales and marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on key assigned markets. The role requires proactively identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities to expand market presence and develop untapped market segments within the region.
Business Development and Account management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders including shipyards, vessel owners, and technical consultants. Lead all business development and marketing activities to achieve sustainable and profitable growth.
Strategy planning : Take a proactive support role with the management to plan and prepare the sales forecasts. Develop and implement actionable plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
Operational management: Work in close cooperation with all key functions and help to maximise the capabilities of the business.
YOUR PROFILE
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Marine, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical field.
At least 3 years of proven success in sales within the marine industry, with a focus on capital or heavy equipment sales.
Experience selling equipment's to clients such as coast guard, navy, fishing, salvage companies, tugboat, and offshore vessel owners is highly advantageous.
A results‐oriented professional with the persistence to achieve ambitious targets.
You are a strong networker and to‐the‐point communicator who is able to build and maintain a solid internal and external network.
You have good interpersonal skills and can interact easily and influence all levels of stakeholders.
You are willing to travel in the region.
