Overview
As a Marine Diesel Mechanic, your duties will include:
Responsibilities
* Servicing & maintaining marine engines and drivetrains (mainly Volvo Penta and similar)
* Diagnosing and repairing engine & vessel systems
* Maintaining marine generators (Mase, eniquest and others)
* Re-powering vessels (diesel and petrol)
* Performing on-water testing, collections, and deliveries
* Installing new engines and systems
* Communicating clearly with both the team and customers
Qualifications
* Qualified Diesel mechanical tradesperson (marine background preferred, but other industries welcome)
* Experience with diesel/petrol engines and 12v electrical systems
* Excellent diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
* Strong work ethic — self-motivated, reliable, and a team player
* Passion for boats and being on the water
* East Coast applicants are encouraged to apply! Relocation costs will be paid for right applicant
