Days & Hours
Monday – Friday: 3:15pm – 6:15pm. There is potential to extend each shift by up to one additional hour to assist with light household tasks prior to school pick‑up.
About the Role
* Walk to the local school (4‑minute walk) for pick‑up
* Supervise and support homework and after‑school routines
* Transport the children to extracurricular activities:
o Swimming at Mentone Aquatic Centre (7‑minute drive)
o Dance at Shine Dance Studio, Moorabbin (12‑minute drive)
o Athletics at Mentone Athletics Club (8‑minute walk)
* Provide a calm, supportive, and respectful presence in the afternoons
Ideal Candidate
* Calm, kind, respectful, and dependable
* Confident supporting school‑aged children
* Organised and punctual, with good communication skills
* Enjoys creating a structured yet relaxed after‑school environment
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a nanny or in a childcare‑related role
* Current Working With Children Check
* Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Full driver's licence
* Own car preferred; family may provide a vehicle for the ideal candidate if required
* Non‑smoker
* Strong English communication skills
