Job Description
The Program Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing and supporting young people in youth justice and restorative justice interventions.
Main responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with a team to develop and deliver programs that foster positive outcomes for young people
* Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and community partners to enhance program delivery
* Providing training and guidance to staff on engagement strategies, youth worker safety, and compliance management to ensure best practice
* Allocating Youth Worker duties and coordinating timetables to optimize program efficiency
* Monitoring and evaluating the performance of Youth Workers to drive continuous improvement
* Maintaining strong relationships with community service agencies and conducting risk assessments to ensure safe and effective program delivery
* Offering supervision and support to young people to help them reach their full potential
* Developing and maintaining procedures for the supervision and direct care of young people to ensure high-quality services
