**The Chance**

Our client is a global eyecare company with a strong consumer and surgical portfolio that is at the forefront of everything they do. They are a market-leading company that delivers innovative technology and new ways of engaging with Healthcare Professionals and patients.

**The Role**

This is a newly created permanent role that is critical to the commercial organisation as it drives strategic decision making through the provision of data driven insights to the business. The role works collaboratively with marketing, sales, key accounts, operations and commercial excellence to guide and recommend actions to the senior leadership team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyse sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives
- Generate, maintain and continuously seek to improve a standard weekly/monthly suite of reports for the commercial team
- Provide insights on sales patterns, to optimise revenue generation
- Support commercial teams in development and performance of customer rebates
- Utilise all available data sources and analytics tools to generate actionable data driven insights on customer sales performance, behaviours, preferences and trends.
- Conduct segmentation analysis to identify target segments to support tailored sales & marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing and senior leadership teams to design and develop interactive sales dashboards using modern data visualisation tools and technologies
- Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that enable users to explore and analyse data easily
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree from an accredited tertiary educational institution.
- Proven experience in market research, business intelligence or strategic analysis roles preferred
- Advanced knowledge & proficiency in using data analysis and visualisation tools, such as Excel, Powerpoint, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Data Warehouses or similar software.
- Strong experience with SAP and Salesforce
- High level of capability with ROI Analysis and process improvements
- 5 years plus experience in a business analyst role, healthcare (pharmaceutical or medical devices experience preferred but not essential )
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and market research methodologies
