An exciting opportunity is available for a passionate and experienced Facility Manager to join a well-regarded residential aged care facility in Broome, WA. As Facility Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and staff engagement. This is a key leadership position for someone who thrives in a hands-on role and is committed to delivering excellent outcomes for residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & People Management: Inspire and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care.
* Operational Management: Oversee the smooth operation of the facility, including staffing, clinical compliance, resource planning, and resident satisfaction.
* Financial Oversight: Work closely with senior leadership to manage budgets, monitor performance, and ensure sustainable operations.
* Quality & Compliance: Ensure the facility adheres to aged care standards, accreditation, and WHS legislation to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement service improvements across clinical care, operations, and resident engagement.
About You
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration (or relevant clinical qualification).
* Demonstrated success in managing residential aged care or similar health services.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
* Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, funding models (e.g. AN-ACC), and compliance frameworks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confident in driving change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
