Retirement Village Manager Job

Lead our village operations to ensure residents enjoy a secure and independent lifestyle, while overseeing financial performance, asset maintenance, and sales and marketing in line with our standards.



Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure the safety of the Village with fully functional emergency systems and procedures in place.
* Act as the village lead in interactions with residents, resident committees, and local community engagement to support resident satisfaction.
* Efficiently handle incoming complaints.
* Promote social and activities programs.
* Contribute towards the strategic direction of the village, including sale and marketing collaboration, asset management, and maintaining knowledge of community needs and market trends.
* Manage village administration and finances, including reporting, budgeting, P&L, and resident records.
* Handle ongoing and preventative maintenance, gardening coordination according to schedules.
* Coach and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer service to our residents.
* Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Develop excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including residents and families, contractors, and pastoral employees.



Requirements:

* Sales and marketing qualifications are desirable.
* Previous experience in a Retirement Living environment is required.
* A strong understanding of the Retirement Villages Act and Residential Home Care Packages is desirable.
* A minimum of 5 years of management experience is required.
* The ability to interact with our residents with respect, maturity, and empathy is essential.
* Strong leadership, management, and operational skills are required.
* Demonstrated financial planning and budgeting experience is necessary.
* Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills are required.
* Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills are necessary.
