Synergie Australia is seeking a Settlements Officer for a trusted client located in Parramatta.
The important parts:
1. Pay: $37 per hour + super | Duration: 12-month initial contract (potential for permanent role)
2. Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm | 38 hrs per week
What you will be required to do:
You'll guide customers through one of the biggest moments of their lives, coordinating with banks, solicitors and PEXA to keep every home‑loan settlement moving smoothly. This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role where your accuracy and collaboration help deliver a seamless settlement experience.
3. Process timely, accurate and compliant settlements.
4. Verify and validate all settlement documentation.
5. Liaise with banks, solicitors, PEXA, and internal teams.
6. Deliver excellent customer service and resolve settlement issues.
7. Identify and escalate risks, ensuring strong compliance.
8. Contribute to process and service improvements.
9. Maintain accurate records and adhere to policies and procedures.
10. Collaborate across Mortgage Operations to support business outcomes
To be successful in the role you will:
11. Have strong knowledge of consumer banking products and settlement processes.
12. Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
13. Apply sound judgement, problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
14. Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a customer‑focused mindset.
