This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, with accountability for both operational test management and test assurance outcomes. It is suited to someone who can move comfortably between execution and assurance, ensuring testing is not only completed, but completed to the required standard.
This is not a test strategy-only role. You will own the day-to-day operational assurance of testing, working closely with delivery partners, business testers and program leadership.
What you'll be doing
* Build, execute and assure detailed test plans aligned to program schedules
* Provide operational test assurance across SIT, UAT and business-led testing
* Manage daily testing activity, ensuring teams are ready, engaged and supported
* Triage defects, manage priorities and assure timely resolution
* Track and manage timelines, risks, issues and dependencies
* Work closely with the systems integrator to ensure testing meets agreed assurance standards
* Support cutover planning and execution, assuring readiness for go-live
* Deliver clear, transparent test assurance reporting to senior stakeholders
* Promote a collaborative, one-team assurance mindset across internal teams and partners
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Test Manager, Test Assurance Manager or Operational Test Lead
* Strong hands-on test management and assurance capability
* Experience delivering and assuring testing on SAP programs, ideally S/4HANA
* Comfortable operating in complex, multi-vendor environments
* Experience with tools such as Jira, TestRail, SAP Cloud ALM or similar
* Exposure to cutover assurance or broader delivery roles highly regarded
* Confident communicator able to provide honest, evidence-based assurance
* Sydney-based and able to work onsite with testing and UAT teams
