Key Responsibilities:
1. Writing and executing comprehensive test plans
2. Coordinating Factory and Site Testing Specifications and reports for assigned projects
3. Participate in code reviews
4. Plan and coordinate all testing activities
5. Provide leadership to other less experienced team members
6. Provide assistance to the IT Engineering group for customer support as required
7. Provide product expertise to support the sales process as required
8. Follow established development quality processes and procedures
9. Actively contribute to the improvement of software testing processes
10. Take an active role in the development team processes to improve product testability
11. Contribute to a development environment that fosters technical excellence and teamwork
Requirements:
* 3 – 4 years Software Test Engineering experience
* A Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
* A solid understanding of .NET, C# and SQLServer
* Experience developing Test Automation and using scripting languages e.g. Ruby, Python
* Experience testing software solutions in the mechatronics/robotics/automation domains
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* A sound knowledge of MS Office applications
* An understanding of OHS requirements
* Willingness and availability to travel to customer sites throughout the Asia Pacific region during site commissioning stages (up to 2 months at a time)
* A friendly and cooperative attitude
