Flight Attendant Role
The role of a flight attendant is to ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of passengers on board an aircraft. As a solo flight attendant, you will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently.
Regional Express operates a fleet of Saab 340 aircraft to 54 destinations across regional Australia. Our team provides a link between cities and regional areas, offering a unique and rewarding experience.
As a flight attendant with Regional Express, you will have the opportunity to travel to some of Australia's most beautiful destinations while providing exceptional customer service. * - Independent and self-reliant: As a solo flight attendant, you will need to manage the cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.

* - Detail-oriented and safety-conscious: You will need to maintain a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations, as well as manage in-flight services efficiently.
Some of your duties will include:
* Equipment/security checks
* In-flight announcements
* In-flight food & beverage service
* Cleaning duties
* Handling various situations that may occur in the cabin
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* - Be at least 18 years of age
* - Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
* - Be no taller than 173 cm
* - Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
* - Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
* - Have completed a minimum 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or worked in the UK, Ireland or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5
* - Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which involves a police security check
* - Have experience in customer service
* - Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device
* - Be flexible and willing to work varying hours, including holidays and peak periods
* - Have a high level of personal presentation
