Farmcraft, an independent family owned business established in 1992, is SE Queensland's largest independently owned group of rural merchandise stores. We service a diverse customer base including primary producers, landscapers, fencing contractors, pet owners, home gardeners, and lifestyle block owners.
We have an opening for a customer focussed Salesperson at our Kalbar store.
The successful applicant will be expected to take an active part in all areas of the branch including but not limited to sales, stock movement, merchandising, stocktaking, order processing and administration. A team player with a can-do attitude will be a distinct advantage.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Engage with customers, understanding their needs, and providing product recommendations and sales assistance
* Provide outstanding customer service to clients in store, and via email and phone.
* Sales transactions, including loading of produce into vehicles
* Assist with customer account management
* Stock management administration
* Stocktaking & store merchandising
Ideally the successful applicant will possess:
* Previous experience working in a similar role involving sales / customer service
* An understanding of the rural industry, horticulture, &/or knowledge of rural merchandise
* Computer literacy skills
* Excellent communication
* The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
* High attention to detail with ability to prioritise and execute tasks
* Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
* A current forklift ticket (or be willing & able to gain one)
Ideally we're looking for a full-time team member.
