About the role:
As the Technical Consultant – Dev Ops, you will be working closely with clients and the team to qualify work according to our clients’ needs and translate into best-fit solutions. You will work with new and existing clients, and your ability to communicate well, with all stakeholders will be critical to your success in this role.
You will be responsible for both leading technical designs and consideration as well as being the voice of the client across our teams. Our consultants do not stop once a delivery is complete, but rather continue working with clients ongoing to validate solutions, suggest change requests and enhancements and maintaining ongoing relationships.
Key responsibilities of the role:

Key required skills and qualifications:
* 10+ years’ experience delivering professional IT services, a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Systems engineer, developer, consultant or similar
* Proven experience working with cloud technologies, specifically AWS or Azure.
* A “builder” mindset – development or scripting experience a must. (Ideally you will have experience with Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc)
* Experience with container technology, Docker and/or Kubernetes
* Developer Methodologies - Git, Code Branching, CI/CD pipelines
* Experience with AWS and or Azure Cloud Technologies
* Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (Cloudformation, CDK, Terraform)
* Experience working with CI/CD (CodeBuild, CodePipeline, ECR)
* Understanding and experience in Agile Project Methodology and Change Management.
* Comfortable interacting with people across all levels of an organisations and ability to field technical and business-related questions
* Flexibility and ability to manage changing priorities
* Strong interest in understanding how to improve existing processes and designing solutions to meet business/customer needs
* A commitment to learning and expanding what you can offer, both the Comunet team, and our clients.
* AWS or Azure Certification – Solution Architect, DevOps, Security, Networking, Data
* A relevant bachelor’s degree or higher in Information and Communication Technology
