Key Criteria:
* Checks cake order stand for special orders.
* Pulls stock from freezer or cooler to fill merchandising area.
* De - pans, garnishes and packages baked cheesecakes,seasonal pies and fruit tarts. Places finished product on racks and transfer racks to cooler, freezer or wrapping area.
* Checks production schedule for daily needs Processes all cakes following assembly instruction in Cake Decorating Manual.
* Assists with other bakery duties as needed.
* Provides prompt and courteous member service.
* Keeps decorating area clean and clear of debris. Follows safety and security procedures.
* Follows SSOP guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position.
* Completes and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety certification and all safety training required by warehouse and department.
Non-Essential Functions and Task:
* Assists with front end duties as necessary.
* Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
Qualifications ( industry-specific skills that candidates should possess ):
* Education/Training: High School Certificate or Higher
* Licenses/Certifications: Food safety preferred.
* Experience: Cake decorating or comparable experience.
* Rotating roster which will include weekend work and starts from 5am or finishing as late as 11pm.
