Summary Of Job Duties And Responsibilities
This position will manage the Eagle Rest Farm, located in Ballard County, Kentucky, and the production of hay, crops, and cattle. This position will also work closely with the Dean of the Huston School of Agriculture in the development and management of the George Gay Conservancy.
Manage day to day farming operations on Eagle Rest including hay production, row crops, and cattle.
Oversee facilities and equipment as needed for the efficient operations of all farm enterprises, to include care and maintenance of farm buildings, equipment and grounds.
Responsible for maintaining Eagle Rest Farm in a professional and well-kept manner.
Coordinate contracts with appropriate service provider, in accordance with University policies and procedures, in order to develop and maintain the George Gay Conservancy.
This position may be required to live in a residence provided at the worksite.
Other duties as assigned.
