At Experience Gold Coast (EGC), we create and deliver some of Australia's most exciting and iconic festivals, from Blues on Broadbeach and Cooly Rocks On, to Groundwater Country Music Festival and BLEACH*. We're looking for an Event Producer to work alongside our Festival Team, turning bold ideas into world-class live experiences.
This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and all about delivering seamless, safe, and spectacular events. You'll coordinate everything from site planning and scheduling to stakeholder engagement and on-the-ground operations, ensuring every detail runs like clockwork.
What you'll do
As part of the Festival Team, coordinate and deliver major festivals and events, from planning through to pack-down.
Develop detailed event plans, site layouts, schedules, and operational requirements.
Ensure all permits, licenses, and compliance documentation are lodged on time.
Integrate sponsor activations in partnership with the Sponsorship and Partnerships team.
Support on-site operations during all event phases, including bump-in and bump-out.
Maintain strong safety standards, embedding WHS and risk management into all event planning and delivery.
Liaise with venues, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and exceptional experiences.
Assist in post-event evaluations to continuously improve our festival delivery.
What you'll bring
3+ years' experience in outdoor events or festivals, preferably in a diverse, high-volume environment.
Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong organisational, budget management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Understanding of WHS and risk management in live event settings.
Confident in Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn event-specific software.
(Bonus points for) Event management qualifications and/or 3D design software skills.
