Job Description
This role provides support to the ICT Service Management section to ensure high availability and maximum effectiveness of systems and information and communications technology for the government.
The position works closely with the Service Providers and Service Delivery teams on a variety of both steady state and project activities.
The centralised, outsourced ICT environment may require occasional out-of-hours work.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and advise on Microsoft Enterprise licensing.
* Provide advice regarding the design, delivery and quality of all government ICT service integration delivery and management requirements.
* Provide high level support and collaborate with teams across the division for the effective delivery of services.
* Support the Service Improvement Manager in hardware, warehousing and ICT inventory management.
* Assist with major projects, service transition and end-to-end management services provided by external service providers.
* Ensure services are delivered in accordance with service level agreements and resolve non-performance issues with service providers.

* Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative approach.
* Experience in supporting the delivery of ICT services and solutions from an operational and/or project perspective.
* Planning, problem solving and organisational skills including effective management of multiple tasks.
* High level communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* Knowledge of contemporary ICT frameworks, methodologies and processes.
* Able to work with autonomy and accountability.
* Possess a police clearance and NT working with children check.
* Demonstrated work ethic and attitude that emulates government values.
Desirable Skills
Desirable Qualifications:
* Qualifications in Information Technology or relevant discipline.
* Knowledge of Northern Territory Government business environment.
* Experience with managing Microsoft products.
