Job Title: Clinical Collector

About the Role:
As a Clinical Collector, you will be responsible for collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients with care and attention. You will also maintain accurate records of every patient and sample, ensuring timely delivery of documentation, preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing, and liaising with various individuals including customers, clinic staff, and couriers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with meticulous attention to detail
• Maintaining precise records for every patient and sample
• Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
• Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
• Coordinating effectively with diverse individuals such as customers, clinic staff, and couriers

Requirements and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
* A demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy/Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy.
* Strong organizational skills, with excellent time management and attention to detail.
* The ability to work autonomously, sometimes independently in a solo clinic.
* A valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
* A working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one.
* Status as an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work.
* Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role.
* Other vaccinations based on location may be required/setting.
