* This role is responsible for supporting the Hospital Management Team and managing the perioperative department through leadership, mentoring, and clinical governance.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering hospital outcomes in clinical aspects, quality improvement, administration, and leadership.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Manage labour and consumable costs to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
* Ensure compliance with Infection Prevention & Control Program and NSQHS Standards to maintain a safe working environment.
* Support the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care through effective leadership and mentoring.
About You:
* Applicants should have solid experience in a comparable leadership role, preferably in a theatre or perioperative setting.
* A tertiary qualification in Nursing or a similar field is essential for this position.
* Previous experience as a scrub nurse or in a similar role would be highly regarded.
