About the Role
Joblin Partners is recruiting a Business Development Manager for a privately owned mining equipment rental business operating across Queensland and New South Wales.
The role is Queensland focused and can be based out of Mackay, Townsville, or Rockhampton, with the operational yard and core Queensland fleet based in Mackay.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a hands-on BDM role centred on increasing fleet utilisation, building strong mining client relationships, and developing new revenue opportunities across mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and grow relationships with mining clients across Queensland.
* Drive utilisation of a large mining-focused rental fleet, including excavators, trucks, and ancillary equipment.
* Actively network within the mining sector and spend time on site with customers.
* Identify new opportunities and mature existing client relationships.
* Work closely with the Managing Director and an experienced NSW-based BDM.
* Operate autonomously with full ownership of the Queensland market.
About You
* Proven experience in business development within mining, equipment rental, or heavy industry.
* Strong existing industry network and genuine mining client relationships.
* Solid understanding of mining equipment and site operations.
* Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate independently.
* Commercially driven, proactive, and comfortable being out in the field.
