About the Role:
Our operations team currently comprises 9 dedicated staff, including Sales & Accounts Managers, Product Specialists and Sales Administration Officers. As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our team in Cairns and seeking a passionate & driven Product Manager to take the lead in shaping and managing our product portfolio. This is a newly created role at the centre of our supplier and product strategy. Acting as the primary liaison between AC Solar Warehouse and our key suppliers, you will play a critical part in enabling the business to meet revenue and margin targets for each brand, while ensuring strong and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
Working closely with the Sales, Marketing, Procurement and Technical teams, the Product Manager will combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to ensure product availability, accurate information, effective pricing, and successful brand promotion. You will also contribute to forecasting demand, identifying growth opportunities and supporting operational efficiency.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to balance supplier management, market analysis, and internal team enablement. You'll have a track record of achievement as we're looking for someone who can quickly gain an understanding of our company, our industry and our products and become a champion within the business.

Selection Criteria:
* Relevant electrical trade, engineering degree, or strong technical background/experience
* Previous success in a technical, product management, or supplier-facing role
* Demonstrated commercial acumen
* Strong ability to build and maintain lasting stakeholder relationships
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
* High computer literacy, particularly Excel
