Our client a leading Australian investment advisory and wealth management firm, known for its high-touch, research-driven approach and long-term client relationships.
The firm provides extensive corporate advisory, research, and asset-management services to private clients, institutions, and not-for-profits.
Our client is known for its institutional-grade research and execution capability with a boutique culture that values integrity, independent thinking, and deep client trust.
We are currently looking to appoint two associate equity research analysts into this well-regarded research team within the Transport & Packaging and TMT sectors.
You will conduct company analysis, financial modelling and valuation, build and maintain models and information sources, and assess relevant industry trends.
This role will suit a range of candidates with different levels of experience depending on skills and individual strengths.
We encourage those applicants to apply with a strong background in financial accounting, valuation and modelling from any of the big 4 or potentially who maybe in equities research currently.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
We are working on multiple hires and so we are open to applicants from various sectors within equities research.
Candidates who have a combination of the following skillsets are encouraged to apply;
Bachelor's degree or above in Business (Commerce / Accounting / Finance), with 2-5 years' experience ideally coming from (big 4 consultancy, IB, a corporate within FP&A; or within equities research currently.)
Passion for equities markets
Accounting qualifications such as CA or CFA seen as desirable
Strong interpersonal skills
