Customer Advisor | Part Time | Mackay | QLD
We’re Bendigo Bank. We’re looking for a Customer Advisor who will help customers achieve their banking goals, provide excellent service, and support the community.
Responsibilities
- Explore customers’ needs through in-depth conversations to help them achieve their financial goals, and partner with different specialists within the branch
- Support customers with digital literacy and online banking needs as we continue to innovate our offerings
- Be the face of the branch and customer service — process transactions, handle cash, investigate queries, and assist with paperwork while keeping risk considerations at the forefront
- Embrace lifelong learning with on-the-job training and external development opportunities
- Build connections by supporting customers, giving back to the community, and enjoying a positive team environment
This is a permanent part-time position located in Mackay. The roster is 42 hours per fortnight, Monday to Thursday 10:00am–2:00pm and Friday 10:00am–3:00pm.
What you’ll bring to the role
To succeed in this role, you’ll consistently deliver exceptional customer service. We’d love you to have:
- Experience in a customer service environment with the ability to achieve targets
- Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset
- Confidence to communicate with recent and existing customers face to face and over the phone
- Eagerness to understand and communicate what makes our bank different
- Drive for collaboration — teamwork is crucial for us to work together and achieve our goals
- Experience in the banking and finance industry is a plus but not essential
