Quality Assurance Specialist
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular inspections of products and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards. They will also coordinate with production teams to address quality issues, implement and maintain quality control procedures, and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality problems.
* Perform workshop inspection activities in accordance with engineering specifications, contractual requirements, work instructions, and industry best practices.
* Undertake internal auditing of workshop tasks and activities.
* Capture and manage quality issues via the SAP quality notification process.
* Develop and deploy detailed work instructions for workshop-related tasks.
* Develop and deploy quality control check sheets for workshop-related tasks.
* Participate in root cause analysis events.
* Assist with the development of project-specific inspection and test plans.
* Assist with the collation and management of all quality plan outputs such as inspection and test plans, check sheets, and records.
* Participate in machine exit audits.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Understanding of metrology and tolerances.
Experience in SAP.
Basic Excel and computer skills.
Strong relationship management.
Experience in mining, longwall operations, development, fabrication, or technical roles is highly regarded.
