About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Draftsman/ Orders Manager to join our team at Kitchens R Us' in Warana, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for overseeing the production and delivery of custom kitchen cabinetry and furniture. Your strong technical skills and attention to detail will be essential in this role.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare detailed CAD drawings and specifications for custom kitchen cabinetry and furniture
* Liaise with out team to understand the design requirements and translate them into production-ready plans
* Manage the order fulfilment process
* Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely manufacture and delivery
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline order management processes
* problem solve potential build issues within construction drawings or concept designs
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cabinet Draftsman or similar role in the cabinetry/furniture industry
* Proficient in using CAD software to produce detailed technical drawings and specifications 3D kitchen would be ideal
* Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and industry standards
* Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in cabinet making or drafting
