Structural Design Innovator

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Innovator to push the boundaries of structural engineering excellence. As a key member of our team, you will support design reviews, update standards, implement the Engineering Assurance framework, and provide technical expertise.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, with experience in water retaining structures and a demonstrated ability to challenge industry standards. You will be responsible for assisting in the identification, creation, and management of technical specifications, standards, and guidelines related to structural engineering, as well as evaluating innovation in structural engineering aspects and maintaining oversight over technical guidelines, standards, and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating innovation in structural engineering aspects and maintaining oversight over technical guidelines, standards, and specifications.
- Provide input to the definition of information, insights, data, systems, models, and tools required for engineering and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information.
- Assist in the identification, creation, and active management of technical specifications, standards, and guidelines related to structural engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil or Structural discipline, recognized under the Washington Accord or Engineers Australia, with relevant experience in structural engineering.
- A driver's license (C class).
- Approximately five (5) years of experience predominantly in structural design.
- Demonstrated experience in structural design of water retaining structures.
- Ability to investigate and challenge Sydney Water standards, Australian and international standards, and industry practice to ensure innovative solutions.
- Exposure in working in a multi-disciplinary design team.
