Start date: 9 Feb ****Contract length: 12 months, with preference for long term continuationPay: $35 per hour plus superannuation A professional family in Como, WA is seeking an experienced and kind nanny to assist in the care of their 2 boys (ages 6 and 8).
The position consists of 4 days per week - 18 hours per week: Mon, Thurs, Fri - split shift 7 am - 9 am and 3 pm - 6 pm Wed - 3 pm - 6 pm An ideal nanny is kind, patient, resilient, friendly, happy and engages in indoor and outdoor activities.
The nanny should be a positive role model and support children's behaviour, especially when emotional regulation is needed.
Responsibilities Care for the children Follow the children's routine Drop off / pick up from school Homework assistance Play and engage with the children in the mornings and afternoons General tidying after meals or activities (Lighthouse hold duties) Preparation of snacks and assisting with simple dinner preparation, if circumstances allow Expectations 3+ years of experience as a nanny or in child care Experience with ADHD is ideal but not required Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one) Current Working With Children's Check Strong communication skills, fluency in English Non smoker Full driver's licence, clean driving record and own vehicle (kilometres and petrol reimbursed)
