Overview
We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded professional with experience in Parking and Ground Transport to join our dynamic team in Darwin. In this role, you'll be responsible for maximising the capital value and net income from the car parking and ground transport assets across Darwin, Alice Springs, and Tennant Creek Airports. This is a key leadership opportunity to shape the future of ground access for multiple airports, working within a progressive and commercially focused environment.
Responsibilities
Lead procurement and contract negotiations for transport and parking operators, ensuring all agreements comply with ADG's legal and governance frameworks.
Define, track, and report on key performance indicators related to customer experience, safety, and operational efficiency, utilising tools such as PCI DSS-aligned payment audits and performance dashboards.
Develop a data-informed asset strategy each year, including a SWOT analysis, income forecasting, benchmarking against peer airports, and long-term capex planning.
Shape the parking product suite (drive-up and online offerings), analyse booking behaviours, craft marketing strategies, and measure impact on revenue and customer behaviour.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, transport providers, and B2B clients to enhance accessibility and ensure ADG remains a trusted and compliant operator.
Oversee real-time analytics infrastructure, sponsor capital upgrades, and guide a high-performing team to ensure safe, efficient, and future-ready ground transport services.
Selection Criteria
Extensive experience in asset strategy and management for car parking and ground transport operations across multiple sites.
Proven ability to oversee complex contracts and third-party operator partnerships, balancing commercial priorities with excellent service delivery.
Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data trends, measure performance, and translate insights into action.
People leadership: mentoring, collaboration, and open communication to support team growth.
Experience working with marketing and customer insight functions to improve product offerings and customer experience.
Creative, evidence-based problem-solving and clear stakeholder communication at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel or Power BI, and a professional approach to negotiation and relationship-building.
Relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
