OPPORTUNITY
Our client is looking for a Branch Manager on a permanent basis. Working from the Darwin branch in the inner Northern suburbs, you will lead and grow branch operations with a high-experienced team of 10. Key duties include:
* Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring functions run efficiently and align with company objectives.
* Oversee a team of 7 staff including BDMs, internal admin staff, and service technicians; provide coaching, performance feedback, and support.
* Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies tailored to the building industry, with a strong focus on builder clients.
* Collaborate with BDMs to expand market share, secure new accounts, and strengthen relationships with existing builder clients.
* Manage administrative workflows to ensure timely quoting, order processing, and customer service delivery.
* Coordinate with service technicians to ensure garage door installations and service jobs are scheduled and completed to a high standard.
* Monitor branch financial performance including budgets, gross profit, and cost control measures.
* Ensure compliance with WHS policies and maintain a strong safety culture across sales, admin, and service operations.

CANDIDATE
To be considered, candidates should meet the following prerequisites:
* 4–5 years minimum experience in Sales Management, managing a team of external sales representatives (in any industry).
* Knowledge of the Building & Construction industry; experience selling building materials in wholesale or distribution is advantageous (not required to be steel-focused).
* Some knowledge of steel products is a bonus but not essential.
