Position Details
We're seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Labourer to join our Palm Lake Construction team at Bargara. You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople to support the building and development of our premium lifestyle homes and community facilities. This is a Full Time - Fixed Term (2 Years) position working 38 hours per week between the span of 6am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Your contribution will help ensure each resort and home we build meets the high standards Palm Lake Group is known for.
Responsibilities
Assisting tradespeople and site supervisors with general construction duties.Performing site clean up, material handling, and general labour tasks.Loading and unloading building materials safely and efficiently.Operating basic tools and equipment under supervision.Maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard free worksite.Following safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents promptly.Supporting construction and display home preparation as required.Comply with all dust exposure controls including engineering controls and RPE requirements as per WHS legislation in QLD.Other duties as directed by site supervisors or project managers.

A White Card (Construction Induction) - essentialA current driver's licence & reliable transportA strong work ethic and a commitment to quality outcomes.Experience in construction or labouring (preferred but not essential).Must be medically fit to wear tight fitting respiratory protective equipment (RPE) & willing to comply with associated facial hair requirements for silica PPE & safety requirements.Willingness to undertake silica awareness training, RPE training and baseline & ongoing health monitoring where required.Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
