As an integral part of the Lowes Petroleum Retail team, this is your chance to join a dedicated team for a 12-month coverage period in a well-established business in regional New South Wales.
About The Role
We're seeking an experienced Retail Store Manger to lead a convenience-focused retail service station with a takeaway food and coffee offer. This role is about retail performance and execution - growing convenience sales, maintaining strong in-store standards, and merchandising the store to maximise impulse purchases and customer flow.
You'll be hands-on, commercially minded, and focused on running a tight operation that delivers consistent results across 7-day trading.
What You'll Do
* Lead the day-to-day operation of the store with a strong customer-first focus
* Drive convenience sales growth through strong merchandising, range execution, and promotional activity
* Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and compliance
* Lead, coach and develop your team to deliver friendly, efficient service
* Manage takeaway food and coffee operations with a focus on speed, quality, and consistency
* Monitor costs, stock control, waste, and labour to maximise profitability
* Ensure safe operations across forecourt and shop environments
* Build a positive team culture that supports performance and retention
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in convenience retail, fuel retail, grocery, or QSR-style environments
* Strong understanding of merchandising, range execution, and retail sales drivers
* A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop teams
* Solid commercial awareness and confidence managing store KPIs
* A practical, customer-focused approach to running a busy retail site
