About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Service Desk Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
* The role involves providing technical assistance via phone, email, and other communication channels, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and resolving problems efficiently.
* Our ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
* A diploma or degree in an engineering discipline relevant to IT server administration, IP network engineering, or telecommunications is required, along with experience in maintaining and supporting physical and virtual Windows Server systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Triage customer requests and incidents, conduct further investigation as required, and progress the delivery or resolution.
* Provide telephone support to customers in equipment operation and fault-finding, ensuring high standards of customer service.
* Understand the full product set from a setup and support perspective, ensuring comprehensive knowledge of our solutions.
* Completion of allocated tasks to required quality within the agreed completion schedule, ensuring all support SLAs are met.
