We are currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Officer to join the team on a 6 month fixed term contract across all campuses.
About the Role:
The Maintenance Officer is an integral part of the building and maintenance teams across the CHRH campuses of Daylesford, Trentham, Creswick and Clunes.
Maintenance Officers are required to take initiative and work to achieve a high standard of quality service delivery in all areas of CHRH infrastructure and engineering operations including, delivering on preventative, reactive and scheduled maintenance and minor works programs.
Maintenance Officers are required to uphold safe and reliable work practices and ensure compliance with OH&S at all times.
The role will also ensure compliance with CHRH policies and protocols in procurement, storing and distributing supplies and equipment.
About You:
Trade qualifications in related area, with equivalent years of work experience.
Experience in a maintenance-based role (buildings, plant, equipment & renovation works), with basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, painting and garden maintenance.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise work, and work within designated timeframes and deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities and meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised as required.
Intermediate Computer skills and experience in using Microsoft Office.
Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
Details of Appointment:
6-month full-time fixed-term position, working 80 hours per fortnight including an Accrued Day Off (ADO) each 4 weeks (pro-rata).
Leave backfill position, based across all campuses depending on need.
Dependent on experience/trade, as per award + superannuation

Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is a rural health organisation that operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria in Australia, north and north-west of Melbourne.
It was formed through the voluntary amalgamation of Hepburn Health Service and Kyneton District Health on the 30th November ****.
Each of our campuses retains the name of the township in which they are situated - Clunes Health, Creswick Health, Daylesford Health, Kyneton Health, and Trentham Health.
