About The Role
As an ALDI Area Manager, you will be the driving force behind multiple store locations, shaping the future of retail and inspiring excellence in every facet of your role. Your leadership will touch the lives of both employees and customers, setting new standards for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This role is a permanent full-time opportunity within Victoria.
We're looking for leaders who can bring their interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, and management abilities developed in other industries to ALDI. If you've not had experience in retail, that's okay; we've got lots of knowledge and experience to share. We will provide you with a comprehensive training plan and a mentor from day one. With our hands-on training, you'll develop skills that will not only elevate your career but also enrich your personal journey.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leading, mentoring, and empowering a team of 5-6 Store Managers to ensure all stores run smoothly, helping to keep our customers Australia's most satisfied.
2. Working with your Store Managers to recruit, train, and develop the next generation of leaders in our stores.
3. Continuously looking for ways to improve the quality and efficiency of your stores.
4. Overseeing the operational and financial performance of multiple stores, ensuring targets are met, and strategies are effectively implemented.
5. Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of your team members.
What We Need From You
1. Demonstrated experience leading teams, ideally in a customer-facing environment.
2. Willingness to relocate and/or travel between a portfolio of stores across Regional Victoria.
3. A proactive seeker of feedback who fosters personal and team growth through reflection and continuous improvement.
4. A clear, impactful communicator who informs, inspires, motivates, and influences others to drive team success.
5. An inclusive collaborator who actively consults, resolves conflicts as they arise, and appreciates alternative perspectives.
6. A decision-maker who shows ownership by making informed decisions, executing efficiently, and taking responsibility for results.
7. A change catalyst who embraces and navigates change with enthusiasm, seeks improvements, and supports team members in implementing changes.
8. A person with a bachelor's or master's degree (any discipline) and relevant experience in a similar role.

Remuneration
* Tiered salary range of $150,000 - $199,800 including Superannuation + car.
