We are inviting experienced and dedicated disability support workers who live in Townsville, Rockhampton, Maryborough, Redcliffe, Gold Coast, Oxley, Loganlea, Ipswich or Toowoomba to join our team. Our support workers, known as Residential Care Officers, enrich clients' lives by ensuring they have the opportunity and support, tailored to their individual needs, to explore and participate in all aspects of their life. Our services include support for independent living (accommodation support). Responsibilities
* Perform daily household tasks with participants (menu planning, cooking, serving meals, cleaning, shopping, laundry, bedmaking, light garden activities)
* Assist participants to maintain relationships with their family, friends, and advocates
* Help participants develop and maintain personal independence within their home (personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, showering and safe and enjoyable mealtimes)
* Assist participants in their personal and health care by providing support with medication, ensuring correct dosages as prescribed, seizure response, and health needs

It is highly desirable that all employees continue to be vaccinated against COVID‐19 in line with health advice and their own personal circumstances. Mandatory COVID‐19 vaccinations are not required for Residential Care Officers.
