Senior Health Professional – Mental Health

This is a Permanent Full Time appointment.

Position Profile

The Senior Health Professional – Mental Health will independently coordinate the development, implementation, and review of clinical education programmes across MidWest Mental Health and Community Alcohol and Drug Service to align governance requirements with clinical practice. The role will support the orientation of new staff with a focus on evidence‐based care, identify and facilitate relevant clinical education opportunities, audit compliance with governance processes and mandatory training requirements, and provide advice to the management committee on service gaps and resource requirements to support high‐quality service delivery.

Eligibility

Applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed‐term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia.

Other Conditions

WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. Applicants are required to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity check, a Working With Children check if required, and a pre‐employment health assessment. A satisfactory PEHA is required; an unsatisfactory PEHA will result in withdrawal of the offer. The vacancy is subject to a Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) check.
