About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to contribute to patient care by undertaking advanced clinical support tasks under the direct or indirect supervision of a pharmacist.
About you
- Coordinate the operational management of the Pharmacy Support Staff who are located in the Cancer Care Pharmacy and relevant Satellites under the guidance of the Pharmacy Technician Team Leader and Cancer Care Pharmacist Team Leader.
- Exercise a high degree of autonomy, initiative, and judgment in facilitating the provision of a pharmacy service within Metro North Cancer Care Pharmacies including North Lakes, Caboolture, The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) and Bribie Island Satellite Hospital. There may also be a requirement to work at RBWH if required.
- Have a high understanding of Cancer Care Pharmacy services and be confident in such processes such as preparation and dispensing of PBS and NON-PBS medications for chemotherapy and other medications associated with treatment in the cancer care unit.
