McConnell Dowell is seeking a highly experienced Executive Assistant to the Managing Director to provide exceptional, trusted support in a senior leadership environment. This is a role for a seasoned EA who thrives on complexity, discretion and influence; someone who can anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and operate as a true extension of the executive office.
About The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will provide end-to-end executive assistance and broader coordination support. You will act as a trusted extension of the executive office, helping bring structure, alignment and flow to complex priorities.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Complex diary, inbox and workflow management for the Managing Director
* Coordination of domestic and international travel, itineraries and schedules
* Preparing and coordinating executive and board-level papers, reports and presentations with pinpoint accuracy
* Managing confidential and commercially sensitive information with absolute discretion
* Expense management, invoice processing and executive administration
* Supporting executive meetings, workshops and events including logistics, papers, minutes and actions
* Collaboration with the broader executive EA cohort as required
About you
You are an accomplished Executive Assistant who is recognised for your ability to communicate clearly, directly and constructively with stakeholders at every level of an organisation. You build credibility quickly, are comfortable managing upwards, sideways and across teams, and have a genuinely collaborative approach to aligning people, priorities and outcomes.
You Will Bring
* Proven experience supporting senior executives by bringing people together, aligning stakeholders and creating clarity in complex, fast-paced environments
* The confidence to communicate clearly and directly with executives, project leaders and external stakeholders
* A collaborative, pragmatic communication style that keeps priorities aligned and conversations constructive
* Strong judgement and discretion when managing sensitive or commercially confidential matters
* The ability to anticipate issues, surface clarity and align competing expectations before they escalate
* Advanced organisational capability and strong Microsoft Office skills
