About the Role
We seek expressions of interest from a highly motivated Drafting Coordinator to work with the project management team based in Perth. The role includes the coordination and checking of drafting activities (internal and external drafters) for detailed drafting activities supporting fabrication projects. The coordinator will be involved with a range of projects from tender to completion and may need to travel overseas for production meetings and quality audits. Our work includes fabrication workshops, coordination and delivery of fabrication and welding projects to a range of blue‐chip resources clients across the mining and gas sector.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years coordinating drafting activities for a range of projects.
* Strong communication skills and understanding of fabrication works.
* A relevant trade or architectural qualification would be a definite advantage.
* Detailed drafting knowledge across structural, mechanical, piping, packaged equipment, pressure vessels, structural plate work and fabrication of modular packages will be advantageous though not essential.
* Strong understanding and skill level in AutoCAD.
* Outstanding technical and communication skills, proven experience dealing with overseas drafting houses will be a definite advantage.
