About the Role As Clinical Director, you will
* Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
* Lead the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
* Oversee clinical governance, workforce planning, and service development.
* Ensure compliance with Queensland Health policies, professional standards, and ethical practice.
* Work closely with executive leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders.
* Support education, training, research, and continuous quality improvement.
About you You will bring
* Medical qualification with eligibility for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* FRANZCOG (highly desirable) or equivalent specialist experience in senior clinical leadership within Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
* Strong governance, service planning, and workforce leadership capability.
* Commitment to education, safety, and continuous improvement.
Remuneration & Benefits
* Total Remuneration Package: $428,904 $536,916 p.a.
* Attraction & Retention Allowance: Up to 50% of base salary.
* Motor Vehicle Allowance: $21,000 $25,500 p.a.
* Professional Development Allowance: $21,500 p.a.
* Professional Development Leave: 3.6 weeks p.a.
* Annual Leave: 4-6 weeks + 14% 17.5% leave loading.
* Superannuation: 12.75% employer contribution.
